Wooden Base for Crocheted Baby Bassinet, Approx. 78 × 40 cm

Wooden base for a crocheted baby bassinet is a practical foundation for handmade bassinets, woven baskets and decorative baby cradles. Its elongated oval shape allows you to create a beautiful, spacious crocheted bassinet that can become a distinctive feature of a nursery.

Evenly spaced holes around the entire perimeter are designed for threading crochet cords or yarn and creating the sides of the bassinet. The rounded ends and smooth oval shape provide an attractive appearance. The natural light wood colour complements a wide range of crochet cord shades, making it suitable for minimalist and decorative handmade projects.

This large wooden base is particularly suitable for creative craft projects using thicker crochet cords. It can be combined with different patterns, colours and decorative details. The second photograph shows an example of a finished crocheted bassinet.
