- Natural Silk for Easter Egg Printing/Dyeing
We offer to purchase natural silk scraps for painting Easter eggs.
Sold in units, the sizes of the scraps vary.
Here is a short description of how to dye eggs using natural silk:
- Wrapping
Wrap each egg tightly with a piece of silk (the patterned side should touch the shell). Then wrap it again with cotton fabric or gauze and tie it with thread. - Boiling
Place the eggs in a pot of water, add a little vinegar (it helps the color set better). Boil for about 15–20 minutes. - Cooling and unwrapping
Let the eggs cool, then remove the fabric – the silk patterns will appear. - Shine (optional)
You can rub the eggs with a little oil to give them a nice shine.
Result – unique eggs decorated with delicate silk patterns.

No. 8 - Tulips on a bright orange background. Size about 0.32 x 0.24m.
No. 9 - lemons and oranges on a bright orange background. Size 0.30 x 0.32m.
No. 10 - lemons and oranges on a blue background. Size about 0.30x0.25m.
No.11 - Size approx. 0.28 x 0.28m
No.12 - Tulips, size approx. 0.33m x 0.25m.
No.13 - Size approx. 0.25 x 0.30m.
No.14 - Size approx. 0.32 x 0.25m.
No. 15 - A sailor's flag on a red background, size approx. 0.31x0.27m.
