Natural Silk for Easter Egg Printing/Dyeing

We offer to purchase natural silk scraps for painting Easter eggs.
Sold in units, the sizes of the scraps vary.
Here is a short description of how to dye eggs using natural silk:
- Wrapping
Wrap each egg tightly with a piece of silk (the patterned side should touch the shell). Then wrap it again with cotton fabric or gauze and tie it with thread. - Boiling
Place the eggs in a pot of water, add a little vinegar (it helps the color set better). Boil for about 15–20 minutes. - Cooling and unwrapping
Let the eggs cool, then remove the fabric – the silk patterns will appear. - Shine (optional)
You can rub the eggs with a little oil to give them a nice shine.
Result – unique eggs decorated with delicate silk patterns.
